Load your plate properly – As a general rule, half of your plate should be filled with vegetables. 1/4 should contain a lean protein, while the other 1/4 should be a starch that’s high in fiber. With this mix, you’ll feel full longer due to all the fiber and protein. Plus you’ll consume lower calories than if most of the plate was filled with empty carbs.
